About
MIYELANI, also known as the Princess of Gomorrah is a South African alternative multihyphenate artist with a passion to create collective experiences through the use of different artistic mediums such a film, fashion and music
The turning point in her musical journey was the release of her debut single, Island in 2019. She gained popularity on SoundCloud and made a quiet but powerful impression on the Joburg underground music scene. She continued to release singles on SoundCloud and featured on tracks such as GLOOM (2021) with Marcus Pool and 626 (2022) with GAIATHEMESSIAH.
MIYELANI released her first EP title 'Era 555' produced by ItsMkBeats in April 2023, with one of her songs from the project titled 'Sirens' securing her a spot on the Spotify editorial playlist titled sAlt showcasing the best new alternative music releases from South Africa and beyond.
